Self-aligning ball bearings

Self-aligning ball bearings are two-row ball bearings where the ball track of the outer ring has a hollow ball shape. The inner ring, cage and ball allow themselves to be pivoted out of the centre position by a few degrees. Misalignments or deflections of the shaft can thus be compensated by the self-aligning ball bearings. The load applied may be both radial and axial in both directions.

We supply self-aligning ball bearings of the 12, 13, 22 and 23 series with both cylindrical and conical boreholes. Self-aligning ball bearings with tapered borehole 1:12 (suffix K) are either fixed directly on tapered shaft seats or with clamping sleeves on cylindrical shafts. Apart from the non-sealed self-aligning ball bearings, we can also offer a basic design with sealing washers on both sides (suffix 2.RS).

Use: e.g. heavy machinery construction.
